ARTIST IMPACT & ADVOCACY

Information + Influence = Impact

SOCIAL IMPACT DEVELOPMENT

Now more than ever, your voice matters.

Artists who care about social justice and charitable causes have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact through their work.

And we can help you get started.

The Change Agent·cy offers a variety of social impact resources that help the creative community give back and advocate for the issues they believe in.

From partnering with national nonprofits, socially conscious brands and grassroots organizations, to amplifying your voice within social justice movements and connecting with like-minded creatives, we help you identify, develop and maximize your passion for making a difference.

Recent examples of our work include our award-winning ‘change communications’ work with Fiona Prine and our national American Red Cross campaign with Martina McBride.

No matter where you are in your career, we can create a customized plan to help you define and articulate your messaging while honing your individual communications style.

ADVOCACY FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY

Advocacy through The Change Agent∙cy is designed to give the Tennessee entertainment community an opportunity to use its collective influence toward the advancement of social interests at the state and local level.

We provide connection to other like-minded artists, community leaders and brands to harness and amplify a unified voice to address important issues and provide strength in numbers around sensitive issues and social justice.

We will accomplish this via:

  • A music industry-based coalition that supports social justice ideas and policies by providing a menu of ways to take action (both publicly and behind-the scenes).

  • Educational opportunities to learn more about proactively engaging in the civic process on a variety of topics including updates on local and national legislation, nonprofit work and more.

  • Up-to-date information and calls to action to address relevant state legislation which can include:

    • Appearances before lawmakers to advocate for important issues

    • Collective op-eds around social concerns

    • Ability to build consensus among members to support sensitive topics, providing safety in numbers

  • Serving as a convener of music advocacy nonprofits ensuring collaborative and effective work towards positive change.
